    Default ITB Wheel Opinions

I am finally building my ITB Golf and I am in need of new wheels. There are very few options and i am considering the 15x6 that has been mentioned by Phil on this site. Any opinions on how this wheel/tire size combo will be vs. the 14x6?

FYI -- I will most likely be wrapping them in Hoosiers.

Starting from scratch, if Phil gets that deal together I would do it. The dealio is the SM Hoosier.

We run 205-55-14s on the rear and 225-50-14s on the front, and the SM is almost exactly the same OD of those. I think I'd gladly trade the slightly narrower tread width for the decreased price of the SM.

If you go with the 14s, the Kosei K1 TS (what I've got more than 20 of stacked up at RennGruppe Motorsports in NC) continues to be available, it seems... They are a great value.

That was my thinking. Are you really getting the 225 up to temp? I wasn't thinking of two different sizes, I will have to change my thinking. If that is the case, I should be able to get some knock-offs from the national SM guys for the rears and only have to buy fronts

    Thanks,
