Default Used Sparco Sprint or New Jade?

Now that I'm selling my car, I can afford to buy a suit

Question is, shall I buy a 4 years old Sparco Sprint or a brand new Sparco Jade? They are about the same price (Sprint is slightly cheaper).

What's the main difference between them anyway? New Sprint costs twice as Jade so there must be something. Both SFI3.2a/5, I guess Sprint is lighter, and maybe looks a bit better, but what else?

    Thanks for any advice,
    Daniel

I bought a Jade this year in black and white and I love it.

Sorry, I can't tell you anything about the sprint

The Jade suit is a "horse blanket" or in other words when your done using it for sports car racing you can wear it on your snowmobile.

The Sprint is about 2/3 the weight of the Jade and is FIA certified.
    Much nicer suit.

I've got several Sprints which I love. But they tend to shrink around the middle each winter.

    Chuck,
That is not the suit shrinking.
