Default 2011 ARRC by GRM Results Thread

Our fine Atlanta Region staff will post results to MyLaps mid-day and after shutdown on Friday, then as soon as possible on Saturday and Sunday. For those that want to follow along at home, however, we have a link to the Live T&S and Live Audio system at:

    Should be a great weekend!

Was watching the live timing and scoring from work Anyone know what happened to Joe Moser #63 in ITA? Looks like he was leading until 2 laps from the end where he dropped back to 10th place.

Was listening to audio - they said he went off in T1 and got stuck in the trap. Oddly, he inherited the lead when Price went off in T1 - but Price came back on, and was only 2-3 seconds behind when Joe went off. Sounded like a great race up to the point when Price went off.

Stephen - no ITR cars registered this year.

And yeah, with Huffmaster not running this year the top few ITA cars were all faster than the ITS leaders.

Damn... Should have run the RX8 and shown it could win a "championship" event!

On a more serious note... I wonder why ITR doesn't have any cars down that way? It just keeps growing up here in the NE.

Word is that the left front radius rod let go. Amazing given how stout those things are.

On a less serious note, I hear that it's because WDCR runs the class w/ Big Bore.

A big congrats to WDCR drivers Tristan Herbert, who won ITB, Tom Martin, who finished second in ITB, Brian Price, who won ITA (both the sprint race and the Pro-IT), and Lee York, who won SSM.

Looking for 2011 ARRC photographer contact information.

    TIA.

PS. I saw the leading yellow ITA Honda's LF crash to the ground as he braked for T1. Lots of sparks and smoke. Really felt for him since he was starting the last lap of the race.

Fastest S car there was Zsolt's GSR. Ran a 141.4 in the afternoon ProIT with Trever driving. Zsolt thinks 40s were well within reach in a morning session, and the data shows the car has a 39 in it. 38 requires A6s which I understand he doesn't want to lay out the cash for. Can't blame him on that.

Sorry for the lack of pics from Groups 7, Rob.

I was shooting an engagement session for a client during that time. That was guaranteed $$, so I shot it instead. I have pics of your car from previous years though.

It was running well but my friend spun it into the gravel at 5 and it punctured the radiator and ripped the alternator belt off. Couldn't properly fixed it but they put it together enough for me to turn some laps.

    Default Arrc results

For those who missed the results over the weekend, ARRC-online.com does have the final results for all of the races, including the enduro, but refers you to the SCCA Pro Racing website for the Pro SRF and Pro FE race results.
