Rear wing is trim?

I want to remove the rear wing on my VW Scirocco. It is a rubber add on. Can I consider it along with the rest of the exterior trim and mirrors?. (Daytona coming).

The easier question to ask is, was it an option and did Sciroccos on your car's spec line come without it?

If so, take that sucker off.

But I don't think you can consider it to be trim.
