    Greg,

Should be a fairly easy mark for you. Kelly Arrison set it and won the race in my ITA Miata.

Mr Medicare (Jim Alley) won the ITA race. So excited I cant tell you who won the other IT Classes

Jim... if that was you that won the ITA race in the miata, GREAT WIN! You walked away from the field! The second car was a miata then a ways back was third car which again I think may have been a... miata I think they should re-name this event the "miata club" event for next year, lots of double dippers!

In ITB only three cars showed but a GREAT battle for the lead with Nat and Paul going at it lap after lap! In the end Paul came out first, Tim (Dugan) came in second and Nat came in third. I know Dan Deyo frequents this board and he had a great battle with Tim (Dugan) in the first half of the race... It was great to watch and fun to see how it played out on the in car video from Tims car.

ITS was dominated by the GSM Rx7's who ran in th 1:14's!

ITR was won by a brand new BMW Z3 coupe that I have never scene before with Ann in the Red M3 coming in second.

Overall a great day of racing and very little carnage... I think only one car came in on a flatbed... in SM

    That's my view from pitlane,
    Stephen

The SM wreck was the 95 car of Ken Payson. Left the track driver right entering turn three. Impacted tire wall at flag Station, they scattered, did complete flip in the air and STUCK the landing.

Formula Fast had a wreck as well but ther was no injuries on track, and great weather sunday.

The SM start was gonna be a sight with 36 cars, was very clean with NO contact. Love watch the angry jelly beans.

Was a great weekend and will be tough to top.

    Dan

PS congrats to JB Swan on his win in IT7.

    Congrats on your win, Jim!

Dan, did you mean driver's LEFT for Payson? Driver's right would have been that Jersey barrier...Ken can't seem to catch a break lately...

OOppps should have held up my hand first. The one that makes an L is left. Loser

Was a long weekend and Im suffering from Heat stroke, sunburn, golf cart inertia syndrome....

I tried to buy the wreck for 3500. He wasent that upset,he told me 6000 as he was driving off I think. He obviously was ok at that time, should hve asked earlier.

Anyone know the car count for the weekend? I can't seem to find it in motorsports reg anywhere. Perhaps you have to register to see the car counts?

Unless I missed something, these guys were the only non-Miatas in ITS. Sad change from 5+ years ago when the ITS/ITB race would 35+ cars deep with about a 60/40 split between ITS and ITB.

STL track record is around 1:16.1

Come on Stephen... the ITA race was getting interesting toward the end! It was the shortest 30 lap race ever and I woulda paid good money for a full course yellow or 5 more laps! Jim did a great job and simply took off!!!

    Few observations....
    1) Some national guys do not know that you do not pull onto the first banked line as you come out of the pits nor do they know that one should give a hand signal when coming into the pits and not simply mash the brake existing 11 and 12. Both got CLOSE
    2) Props to a lot of people for being very aware of their surroundings and other cars. Special thanks to Linda for giving me room at a spot where she did not need to at all so that I could complete my best lap ever
    3) being behind a car that shifts from 2nd to 1st ont he start is scary!
    4) overall attitude seemed great... just had a decent vibe

    Fun weekend all around...

Busy first lap video from the group #5 start (ITA, ITB, ITC).

UNPOSSIBLE. National drivers are far more experienced and better drivers than lowly Regional drivers. That's why they're called "NATIONAL", dummy.

GA. National license holder. Of course.

As a lowly regional driver, you could not fathom the amount of skill required to be at this level.

Why I was almost killed as my tire pressure equalized and my shock adjustment went away. A lessor driver would have careened into the wall on fire, therefore if I did not signal you thats too bad. Im sure I signaled I was pulling off.you must have been looking around at the flaggers or buttrflys and not taking this very seriously. A National driver would have seen my signal and not even thought twice about the proper course of action. Therefore I will not comment on this further as you are beneath me. I may know a driving school that could help you with your distraction, you should go.

    Or something like that.

Dan, you must be a Regional-level of a National license holder. I -- as a National-level of National license holder -- would have recognized the issues you were having and predicted your subsequent actions laps in advance, therefore never requiring the silly wave of your lowly hand to simply "inform" me of your troubles; posh, I knew about it long before you. - GA

(In all seriousness, I'm really sorry to have missed this weekend. Looking forward to seeing you all Memorial Day weekend...)

I hope I did not hold Tim up in the ITB race but truth be told I had a great time racing him. I have a new hole in the rear bumper cover and some strange looking paint on the front bumper to show how close we were. I learned alot from Tim and when I get the suspension rung out I can give him a run for his money.
P.S. I would really like to see some of his in car video. Any chace of the happening Tim?

Dan... you are going to have to mail Tim the perfect little stamped piece of your bumper that his car made for you!
