Using the Braided oil lines with aluminum fittings (Racing beat I think) Seem to have some seepage on the one fitting were it comes off block. what would make a good thread seal?? Thanks Tom Weaver

If it is an AN fitting, don't add any sealer--those are self sealing.
If you are talking about pipe thread--go Teflon.
If the line is leaking--replace.
I have Racing Beat braided lines.
The one going to the rear of the motor had a slow leak on mine as well. Turns out that the washer from the stock lline had stuck to the housing when I removed it and I didn't notice. I took the washer off, re-tightened the fitting and it's been fine since.
check all your fittings as above. typically (and by design) you don't add anythign to AN fittings. if the fitting in question is in your block, it's NOT an AN (metric or pipe thread). PTFE Tape works, and there are also anaerobic curing pipe thread sealant compounds that are really good too.

Mission accomplished! It was not the AN fitting but the oil pressure gauge line going into pickup block below the oil filter. Got a tube of the Earl's sealant work great certainly better than the teflon tape that I always wind the wrong direction!!
