That is true my friend and that is why I said we'll see. It's those good races that make me think otherwise but the track itself.... ho hum

I'm going after ITR NARRC and Pro IT - all events except seeking to drop the June 18th LRP Narrc race...

Will take the car down to Summit on 4/16 for the shakedown test/race

Will be at the JRRC on 10/22.

For all those Pocono haters - come ON! That place can be fun and had some awesome races. Drafting is key and making sure those corners onto the big straights are done PERFECTLY otherwise you dog it.

    • ARRC, STL

Would also be fun to tow down to VIR to run the Integra. Not a bad tow; a bit long-ish, but an easy one-dayer and all highway. If'n I had an engine in the car I'd go next month...but I don't.

Greg, if you come down to VIR for the SARRC/MARRS double, you will actually get to compete against another car in STL. That weekend should be the 1st weekend out for our new STL Miata. It would be great to see how it measures up against a proper STL car (AKA a Honduh).
BTW, I can bring the ITA Civic to said race as well if you know anyone looking for an arrive and drive.

When is it? 'Cause the Honda ain't got no engine in it, my garage is unavailable waiting for the weather to break so we can pour a concrete floor, and my truck and trailer are under about 2 feet of snow.

If this race is any time before about, oh, mid April, ain't gonna happen...

Same as last year: double-tech at both Brian's Garage (Needham, MA) and 3D Autowerks (Hudson, NH), all day April 9th.

No school/Regional to start the year off, so check the annual date in your logbook and ensure you're not stuck in the tech line at the first event while your competition is out for first practice...

Still contemplating the idea but I bet it costs 4k for that one weekend...

Yeah, you're not kidding, but I've never done it, always thought I should give it a go. It cost nothing to apply, but the car isn't legal, I don't have any experience at it so it remains to be seen if I even get in. I can worry about adding gussets to the cage when I get the invite.

Seems I remember an Audi that had to get cut in half after a mishap on the road, so it must have been legal at some point in time. Be lucky that you did it when it was cheap?

I would love to do Mt Wshington but the mortality rate for cars is a little high for my comfort....... How about I foot the entry fee and we'll drive your car!!

I'm probably going to do 2 at Lime Rock and 2 at Watkins Glen. If I have time and money, I'd like to make it down to VIR once as well. I met a few of yall this past season but I didn't actually get to know anymore. Maybe this season I will be able to.
