Default If you don't like the anual window net tax....

I just thought I'd bring this topic up for your consideration. With the new requirement for SFI spec'ed 38.1 Head and neck restraints comes a new item to replace: the helmet teathers. BMW club racing has required these for about 5 years now, and this is coming up for non HANS devices that don't require teather replacement.

    For you reference:

what is the annual window net "tax" you are referring to?

i thought window nets did not need to be SFI rated. and they have to be periodically replaced?

Windows nets must be SFI, but they do not expire.

I had my window net rush delivered last Feburary for my first race, it's been punched in '08. BMW club would have bounced me last year for this net. Glad to see that we're exempt from the date puntch madness. I can only hope that the teather date issue doesn't become an issues with SCCA.
