    Default Merkur Engine

    Happy holidays to all,
I'm trying to locate the names of the two Merkur drivers that ran at the NER drivers school regional this year, at Lime Rock. I think they may be from NNJR. A local speed shop has a SVO Mustang with a fully built 2.3 Turbo Race Engine available. I think this would be a great engine for one of these owners.

I remember seeing one of them at the SJR regional a couple of months ago but I believed he had to change the motor since Turbo is not legal....you can look up the entries in DLB or contact SJR for his name....

I'm pretty sure the cars I saw were not in any IT class. One of them had switched from the turbo four to a small block V8, the other blew up. I can't remember what class they ran in.

I think I know the drivers. Please drop me a PM with your contact information and I'll pass it on. By the way, both cars are powered by forced induction V8's and both have healthy motors at the moment as far as I know.
