Two Toyotas on the track an 85 Supra and an 85 MR2. A SRX7 spins the Supra and the MR2 t-bones it. No more Toyotas on track. At least I drove it in and onto the trailer.

It was a conspiracy I tell you. The Supra (me) is owned and was driven by the Lone Star Region Tech Chief. The MR2 is owned and was driven by John Cooper, The Houston Region Tech Chief. John took a head on shot and his ribs are sore. He may be layed up awhile but he says the is ok.

I didn't see it happen and surely all there is on camera is me driving by under yellow to both cars stopped off course. I had a borrowed video camera in the car and gave it back to him right after the race, but I'll ask the owner if there's any video worth seeing.

Glad to hear everyone is OK. I'm saddened to see carnage at any event, especially when it's someone like Cooper who was running his first race weekend after the school and doesn't have a wad of cash to throw at another car.

I feel your pain on being slim pickings in grid. I was looking at our grid at the start of Sunday's race.. two Caterhams, two Neons, one 240SX (me), and 15 Mazdas. At least I held off all but one of them!

Maybe one less Toyota and one more Mazda soon. I have a 90 Miata sitting in the driveway just begging to have a cage installed. I'm trying to resist the dark side, I really am but......

1.6 Miata makes a great FP car

    and why resist it?
Fun to drive, easy on sonsumables, manufacturer support, large group of folks and knowledge running the car... yeah. that sounds bad :026:

    of course, I'm biased...

Jerry, I looked at the video I have from Sunday and there's nothing on it. I came around the corner plenty of time after it happened and only saw the yellow flag and aftermath.
I checked the previous lap and there's nothing visible in my mirror either.

(the only footage I have is around 6:20 or so into this video)
