    How do these cars handle ?

    I have a buddy that is thinking about building an 84 Celica ( with 6 cyl transplant ) for Chump

    Any tips in regard to the build ?

    What are the weak points ?

    don't know if it matters but there was a fairly clean and reliable ITR supra for sale at the Turkey trots down at sebring this weekend. Looked reliable.. the guy raced it, parked it with a for sale sign, never touched it, got back in the car to race it again, then parked it by the road in the paddock to try to sell it again.

    Taking out the air conditioning and all of its components would definately help your chubby girl lose some weight...there's a way of replacing the doors with some light weight material like carbon fiber or something. also the back window can be replaced with some light weight plastic..this is some serious weight loss

    Read the rule book. We know how to lighten the car. The problem is doing it legally.
