my enclosed trailer has the standard rear door and ramp. i have seen a number of trailers with the fold/drop down end of the door with ramps that are 24" to 36" long vs. the ~12" (guess from memory).

i'd like to get to the ~3" long since i sometimes have issues with tow hooks hitting the ramp depending on tire size and how level the area is, etc.

i know i need to raise up the main door somehow so that the ramp will still be properly supported but think i could do that with some short sections of 2" square tubing between the ramp/door and the standard rubber donut/supports.

has any one got pics of changes they made or seen anything interesting?

i was drooling over several trailers and rigs at the run-offs last week........
