    Hi,

I'm replacing the shocks on my 1st gen crx and would like to know:

    1) if people use bump stops on the shock tower
    and
    2) if yes, what kind are recommended?

    tia,

Yes I have always used them, you can use either the brand from whoever makes your struts/shocks or another quality aftrer market brand like H&R or Eibach.

NASCAR boys have and are still doing a lot of development with bump stops. Here's a good shop to start getting more info on the subject:

    http://www.resuspension.com/

http://www.resuspension.com/Bump-Sto...p-1-c-328.html (bump stops available, they have quite a selection)

http://www.resuspension.com/Technica...tion-sp-6.html (bump stop force vs. travel curves)

    I hope this helps.
