Default fuel filler necks and caps...

I am wondering what the "rules nerds" think about modifying a stock fuel filler Cap and neck to allow for a faster flow of fuel when filling up during enduros. Something like in the following thread seems like an easy way to accomplish this... and if I was using a fuel cell I could have it. (We are running a stock tank in a golf)

You can argue an OEM filler cap/hose is part of the emissions system; also technically it is part of a fuel line (the fillier hose) which are free.

    Stephen,

Take a look at the diesel tank. It should not have the restriction in the filler neck. That would be 1HO 201 075 AQ (diesel AAZ engine) vs. the 1HO 201 075 AE for the gas engine. I presume this is for Tim's A2 Golf.

Or just use a Hunsaker vented fuel jug (or equal) http://www.superduty-hq.com/fueljugs.aspx
