    Default STU Question

Can anyone confirm whether the Porsche 944 Turbo is eligible in STU? The GCR is not clear.
    TIA

Under 3.0 liters is STU, and STU does not explicitly list eligible cars. Turbo cars, however, use intake restrictors based on minimum weight chosen.

I suspect a well-built turbo car would kick ass in STU, eventually resulting in all turbo cars getting moved to STO...

Thanks! I think my car will fit into this class nicely. If I remember correctly the GCR is not very specific on the turbo inlet restrictor location. This can make a huge difference.

    This is from the GCR.
Just pick a weight to run and select the appropriate restrictor size.
This applies to all Turbo cars in STU, not just the Porsche.

All turbocharged engines shall use a compressor inlet
restrictor/weight combination from the following table:

Inlet Restrictor (mm) Minimum Weight (lbs)
    33.....................2200
    35....................2475
    37....................2770
    39....................3100

Would that include an RX-7 rotary turbo?

So the 944 will go from 46 mm to 37 in my case. It will be interesting to see how quickly the rules get tighten up.
