Rt. 7 bridge to be closed this Sat. 6/19

Just wanted to give a heads up. Just heard on the radio that the Rt. 7 bridge over the Housatonic will be completely closed Saturday..........

And the last time they did that the detour took you WAY out of the way with very poor signage.

Is that the Cornwall Bridge. I planned on using that route to Berlin this Saturday.

No, he's talking about the bridge just north of LRP, immediate past the Rt 7/Rt112 split, the one they've been working on for YEARS.

If you come from the south on Rt7 you're fine. If you come from the east and use the Cornwall Bridge then Rt 7 north you're fine. But if you prefer to go north at the Goshen roundabout then cut over to Rt 7 south (as I prefer to do with the 28' enclosed trailer), you'll be detoured.
