    Default hatchback weight

    any one know the weight difference between a 1982 mustang hatchbach & sedan

    Back when I was drag racing the rumor was a few hundred pounds the sedan was lighter than the hatch due to the back glass, hatch. Don't qoute me on that however.

    from what I can find the hatchback is about 70 pounds heavier

    it is in the 70 lb area, the hatch chassis is even more flexible than the coupe
