Default heim joint rod ends for mk1

    Hi all.

Can anyone direct me to a supplier, or provide the diameter/thread pitches for mk1 steering racks?

Im working way up in northern Canada until late next week, so I can't measure whats on the car, and Im running out of time for the next race.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thanks!

Jerod at scch-heads makes a bolt in solution that is a pretty good deal. comes with new tie rods and also the sherical ends..

I actually have a pair of these in my tool box that i ended up not using, I would probably sell em if you were intereted in a complete setup instead of just ends

I've got essentially that same setup on my HP Rabbit. You need to through-bore the knuckle to remove the taper for the stock tie-rod end.

PMW have a nicely made kit to flip over your stock tie rod ends. You still have to drill out the steering arms to fit.

I have had the PWM kit on my rabbit for about 2 years now, great kit for the price. We also run it on our SPU road race car and have had no issues to speak of
