Picked up my 1990 Eagle Talon on Saturday, what a great car. Thank you goes out to Greg the previous owner, and all at IT forums which make this site possible.

Jeff McLaughlin! I'll be damned. Couldn't stay away, could you? Are we going to see you at the April school/Regional at NHMS? I'll likely be instructing (I used to drive a Talon in Showroom Stock (and Firehawk) many moons ago...I like that car, a lot).

For those of you that don't know, Jeff McLaughlin is the prior owner of the SPS ITA Saturn that Jeff Lawton now drives.

At 2500lbs, I've always wondered if someone could really run one of those competetively. 2.0L, 16V, good sized brakes & tranny ratios. Certainly looks decent on paper, but can't say I've ever seen one run. Engine wise, I bet they'd be somewhere inbetween the B18A/B Integra's and the SR20 Nissan's. Will they handle though? Those strut cars? Certainly a good looking car, and it would be great to see people vet-out more viable options. Good luck!
