You are venting the breather to the bottle, but the rule does not specify that the bottle needs to go to atmosphere or not. I do not have one of these but plan to shortly.

This bottle has benefits, at least for the 944. With the 944, if you vent the breather to atmosphere, you will develop leaks in the seals at the front of the engine. By keeping vacuum on the vent, you prevent these leaks. Fancy, yes, but there's a reason for it.
