Default Couple of questions from the ITB Protege build

Getting close to the finish line in converting our SSC Protege to ITB. In studying the ITCS and researching this forum, I have a couple of things that I'm not sure are kosher.

    1) Installed a brand-x CAI - now I'm thinking it may not be legal since the intake is in the front fender. I can get a short ram, but thought I would ask first (see pic)

    2) Keeping the stock fuel tank for now. The filler neck is well protected behind the inner fender wells. But, do I need more shielding or barriers?

    TIA- Steve

    1) If the stock intake system pulled air from the fender, you are ok. If it did not, you need a short ram. For example, a 91 CRX did NOT pull air from the fender, while a 94 Integra, did, so that car can run a CAI.

    2) You're cool with what you have

Looks like a short ram, then, based on the stock intake.
