IT7 gathering at Summit Point

Hi folks,

I am the IT7 drivers rep for the Washington DC region for 2010. I am reaching out and see if there is interest in picking one of the MARRS race weekends this year to get a bunch of IT7s out together. Summit Point is undergoing serious repaving this spring and we should have really good track conditions this season.

The MARRS format gives us one qualifying session Saturday morning followed by a short race Saturday afternoon. Dinner and beer is catered Saturday night at a social and then the main races are Sunday. It's a great format and makes for really good racing!

WDCR IT7 rules are very simple- IT7 is a subset of ITA and ITA rules apply. There is no spec tire.

If we get some good interest I can get paddock space reserved together. Folks that are interested can post here initially so others can see what dates of interest to folks.

The august date dosent con flict with any NERRC races soooo. Dont count me in yet as I may run out of talent/money by then.
