    Default Tercel in ITC?

Has anyone ever asked for this car - '95-'98 Tercel - to be classed in ITC? Seems to me it would be a good fit - FWD, 93HP/100TQ, and with a curb weight around 2,000 it would probably make the ITC weight (~2200) with even a portly driver.

Edit: oh, and I forgot to add the most important part; per a quick scan of Craigslist, it looks like there is a huge pool of cheap donor cars out there.

the 3E-E engine is not your typical toyota, reliability issues abound. the paseo would be a bit better, the twin cam 4E-FE is supposed to be more stout.

if you were able to keep one together, though, it might be a good car to chase down all those civic wagons.

by the way, if anyone actually cares - I think I have a solution for the VW new beetle ITC 16x6 wheel availability problem.

Are the 5E-FE/FHE engines any better? I believe that's what came in the 95+ cars.
