Default List of potential AWD cars

Child post to the AWD ITS/ITR discussion. Lets get a list together of potential classifiable AWD cars. If you have an idea or a request for a AWD car, put it down here. I'd say don't worry to much about where it would be classes at this point, but try to keep it reasonable (for instance, a Lamborghini Diablo might be a tad bit too much for IT.... )

I did a quick search on cars.com, with only search criteria being "AWD". let me know if any of these are not correct, or specifically if AWD-M/T is no availalbe. As a side note, all of these vehicles can be found for less than 7k. most less than 5k.

I will try to keep this top post updated for a complete list.

    Audi 80/90/100/4000/coupe
    Audi A4
    BMW 3 series xi
    Dodge Colt DL (late 80's)
Ford Tempo / Mercury Topaz - (for the love of all nutty racers, someone please build one and race it in IT and STU for the runoffs.....)
Honda Civic AWD Wagon (late 80s, early 90s - not sure if you can get M/T with AWD?)
    Jaguar X-type
    Mazda Protege
Mercedes Benz E-class - (not sure if you can get M/T with AWD - but this would be hilarious!)
    Mitsubishi Galant
    Saab 92x (non-aero)
    Subaru Impreza 2.5RS / 2.2L / 1.8L
    Subaru Legacy 2.5

    Suzuki Aerio
    Vovlo S40/60/V70
VW Jetta ( not sure if you can get M/T with AWD?)

    Default AWDs approved

    Subi 2.5RS is approved.

Who wants the others approved? start filling out those VTS sheets and sending them in!

Hey mods - Can we get an "AWD" section in the 'specific models' area????

I think before that happens you would need more than 0 running in IT.

some seriously cool cars in the list. Don't know about quality.. but how cool would a dodge colt chasing down a Topaz in a rain race! I don't know if I could stop laughing at the finishing order

    1. Mercury Topaz
    2. Dodge Colt
    3. BMW Z3

Is there a rule not allowing electronically controlled center diffs? I think so.

In that case, no R32 w/haldex.

Gee, a 4x Z3 that's the first I've heard of that version. Is there a 4x version of the Miata?

I was joking about the a theortecial finishing order of a pour down rain race. the Z3 woudl be the ITR 2wd behind the 4wd counterparts.
