I think I pen'd the rant for this last year.
I haven't even received mine yet.......but was there a Prod car?

I thought I had found us in the January text blurb (my colors and bolding):
"With SCCA Club Racing, it's far easier to get on track then you might think. With classes ranging from lightly modified production vehicles to full-blown carbon-fiber, purpose-built racing machines, there's something for everyone in SCCA Club Racing."
Sweet! That's us. And there's more:
"With a little bit of instruction and an SCCA-legal racecar (costs begin at just a few thousand) a driver can be on his or her way to a regional racing license. Or a racer can pursue a National Championship at the Runoffs"
Yep, that's us, no picture but at least a mention. But then the hammer blow:
"From a lightly modified Spec Miata to 180mph GT-1 cars, there's a class for every ability and budget."
Doh. It turns out we are below the lowest level of SCCA Club Racing.

Never argue your tab at the end of the night. Remember, you're hammered and they’re sober.
To me "lightly modified production vehicles" means SM and SS. Regional versions of those can be had for "just a few thousand", plus even some Prod cars too. Nope, not referring to IT.
