Default Nissan Motorsports square port header gasket NLA

Hello, long time lurker, limited poster. I actually vintage race a Z but was hoping you guys could help me out. I searched Courtesy Nissan's website and it looks like the L24/L26 square port header gasket, p/n 99996-e1044, is NLA. I'm bummed out, that was a really nice gasket, much better than the paper ones out there.

Does anyone know of a comparable one available or a place which may still stock the Nissan Motorsports gasket?

I get to answer my own post but hopefully you guys will find the info useful as well. I've learned Hooker Headers produces a laminated gasket similar to the Nissan one, available through Summit Racing as well as other places I'm sure.

Call Riley Curtis at Lynchburg Nissan. He usually has a stash. 800-443-2117

Mcmaster.com has dead soft copper sheet that you can use to make a gasket. Suggestion...put the header on a 6" belt sander and make sure the flange is flat...I'd bet it is not. Chuck

Ditto the laminated one. Been using it for years with absolutely no trouble.
