Trying to coordinate a few things with work and want to confirm that the track portion of the school is held on 5/1 (Sat). The NER site shows 4/30 but appears there's just a 10 pm class session that evening?

No, it is a two day school Friday and Saturday with classroom on Thursday night. There is a one day regional on Sunday. NHMS has great facilities for a school and the track time for this event is superb.
