Thread: ITA CRX Final Drive

    Default ITA CRX Final Drive

I'd like to get a final drive with a different ratio for ITACRX. Have found 2 sources. Any *experience* on which is best bang for the buck. Thanks!

I'd call Special Projects MotorSports and talk to Kiwi about his Gear-X units. Pretty easy to deal with, and a good price. I've seen several of these units installed in IT tranny's, and no issues that I know of so far.

I have a Gear-X final drive from Special Project Motorsports in my YS1 and have had no troubles. Kiwi is a good guy and helped me quite a bit when I was looking for gears.

Not sure how the prices stack up but I've got about 3 seasons on my ATS FD... FWIW, I've also heard good things about Kiwi and the Gear-X pieces.

I've installed four GearX FD's for ITA cars so far with no complaints, also three or four for street usage without issues.
