    Search for pics of the Eagle in SS trim. Saw them at LRP,mid 80s raceing in IMSA classes. Maybe they were actually Gremlins? Dick may actually know being the father of "raceing time"

    Mazda 323 and first gen Proteges were awd,turbo optional on Protege

    the mazdas were the 323 gtx if i remember and was directed more towards the rally world, great cars, i actually had a 1980 glc. I believe team highball(i think was the name) campaigned some in the 80's
    control is just an illusion
