    Default swapping a 1.8 for a 1.6

Just curious....I think a1.8 miata(94-97) is a better choice for ITA for more than just the motor...torsen rear is another. what all does one need to convert an early (90-93) miata to a 1.8 to run in ITA? is it tough to do?

    Let's see:

    1.8 vs 1.6 differences:
    Definites:
    Engine (duh)
    Rear end
    Driveshaft
    Halfshafts
    rear bracing
    dashboard
Computer location (may or may not matter)
    Maybe:
Wiring harness? Don't know if the 1.8 engine harness will plug into a 1.6 car harness, or even if they are different?

I'm sure others will have more.

not worried about rearend.....already have a torsen in the car(it is a 1.6 specmiata) just curiuos about the engine and wiring issues if there is any. I want to go IT next year and would love to buy Andy's car forsale but I am 2k short and just afraid I will get beat out by another buyer....if that happens I will have to work with what I have. I am just throwing all possibilities out there.
