FYI - The Fall Sprints at Blackhawk on the weekend of October 10-11 will have a new format with 4 races over the weekend:

Sat am qualifying session
Sat am/pm sprint race 1 - 8 laps
Sat pm sprint race 2 - 8 laps
Sun am sprint race 3 - 8 laps
Sun pm race 4 - 18 laps

each race grid is set by fastest lap in the previous session or race
points awarded for each race:

There will be a Weekend Championship Scoring System. Points shall be awarded for
the 4 races over the weekend to all finishers in positions 1 to 9 in each participating
class.
The points will be awarded as follows:
1
st 10 points
2nd- 9 points
3rd- 8 points
4th- 7 points
5th- 6 points
6th- 5 points
7th- 4 points
8th- 3 points
9th- 2 points
receive no points. All ties shall be resolved per GCR 3.9.1.C. All dead Heats
will be resolved per GCR 3.9.1.D. A disqualification (DQ) from any race will result in
zero points for that race. 1 Bonus point for the fastest qualifier in each class for the

qualifying session only.

Race 4 and the weekend championship will score points in the CenDiv regional championship, which is a qualifying series in the Improved Touring Driver's Championship (go Rich Walke in ITS! - make CenDiv proud in Atl)

Lots of race time for the $250 entry fee.
