    Default Oil sensor fitting

I am trying to install a new oil pressure gauge in a 95 Ford Escort GT which has the Mazda 1.8l engine. I have purchased and tried 3 different adapter fittings all of which do not quite have the corrct thread. Everyone with a Protege or Miata must have already performed this procedure. Does anyone have a source and part # for this part or should I be installing this in another spot rather than the Oil Pressure sensor in the back of the block.

Believe the correct thread is 1/8" BSP. Pegasus has what you need.

Chris is correct. We have cut off the old brass sending unit in a pinch and tapped it 1/8 pipe to fit a gauge before. The block is 1/8 bsp.
