    Default suspension set up

    I have 85 vw gti with 500lbs front spings 450 rear factory sway bar up front any clue what i should start with for camber at limerock in also runnin 225 hoosier all around thanks ahead of time this is my first time runnin there verry excited:eek:

    Just kidding, In reality I have no idea what we run. Eli takes care of that.

    I am just hoping we get all 4 wheels pointed in the same general direction after what happened to it at NHMS 2 weeks ago.
    I have not raced at Limerock in like 4-5 years.

    thanks matt for the info im just glade the motor started just finished putting it together it runs and the wheels turn inthe right direction so well see what happens from here on out

    Dump the front sway bar.

    Tim I may be wrong but you negleted to say that your diff is stock as well (AKA no quaffe or welds.. just an open diff) This plays a HUGE difference in setups as well I would think...

    I bet you get a ton of wheel spin heading on to no-name straight! You may notice a bigger disadvantage at LR than NHMS

    LF camber, 3.0, Rf camber 1.0,
    LR; toe out, 5-6mm, camber 1.5-2.0.
    RR ; toe ,0, camber1.0
    No front bar.
    Swap the springs, front to rear. Front ride alt, Lower control arms, pointed up .5 in. . rear, ride alt, as low as it can go.
