A continuous soap opera...
On one hand you want the engineering and technical advances, but on teh other you want to restrict the money to develop the technologies.
I don't like it one bit.

I was so excited that a "team US" was joining the mix in 2010... felt like i would finally have a team to root for. Now it seems like only force india, williams and these new small teams are sticking to "F1" as we know it and everyone else who actually matters is forming this new thing.
Dont know which one i would watch!

I think it's all "dick fencing" I'll bet (hope) they work something out.
I'm English and am hard wired to watch F1. Just watched practice from Silverstone.
But I yern for the days of six wheeled Tyrrells and Lotus 78's When the cars actually looked different!
It might be interesting to open up the rules and give them a budget cap, here's 100 mil, see haw fast you can go on that!!

it would be cool with that kind of diversity. Not that im opposed to a budget cap because it gives smaller teams a chance to compete but wouldent it be terribly hard to regulate and enforce?

Matt,
It might be great news for F1, But I don't think the new open rules and money cap will include your RX7 even if you take off your fenders. Congrates on your win at NJ. I would liked to have been there. I might of nocked off your fenders to help you make your car into a F1 car and I could of done it very cheep johng
