Well, the total for the 2 run groups is up to 45 cars now. Probably not good to combine at this point.

BUT, my letter did also include a request to do SOMETHING with the 7-car G6. Most obviously combining with the 17 count G8. Give them 2 extra laps so the FV guys don't get less racing and 'pay-off' the FA guys for having to dodge the FV guys...

If I were king, I'd discuss combining group 4 and group 6. 12 Spec racers and 6 FFs. (and 1 F500). Compatible lap times (I think) and still a small or medium group of 19.

Why does it always rain at LRP? Haven"t quite figured out the dry line yet. I guess I will have to break out the RA1's again.

The good thing about the repaving is that there really isn't a rain line at this point. There's still plenty of grip on the regular line.

Good thing. I'd be a-bailin' out for Saturday if it rains (no tires, and no wheels to put them on even if I did have tires...)

Exactly!! You've finally got it. New baby in the family and $17K per year in daycare costs plus all the other stuff, two pups fighting Cancer last year and paying for Chemo; both lost. Probably the hardest year of my life. Racing? Great escape watching and talking about it but not even close on my priority list. Tis a new year though. I was even able to afford the $7 replacement mic. lol
