Hawk pads from Nismoparts.com - 240SX

For any of you guys who have been buying Hawk pads from nismoparts.com; after seeing my first pad separation at MARRS 1, on a set of blues that had 2-3 events on them, I learned a few things I wanted to pass along. After some checking I found out the pads they are selling are really old (like 8-9 years old), and in speaking with a rep at Hawk I was told that they would not recommend using pads that old for racing.

Apparently the bonding agent the use on the pads will deteriorate over time? Anyway, now I get to throw out a couple of boxes of brand new pads. I'm sure many of you already knew this, but I just thought maybe I could spare someone from learning the hard way.
