    Question New roll cage materials.

I'm a bit confused concerning the rules relating to the material allowed for building a roll cage. Do you have to use a steel alloy or is mild steel still ok to use?

Mild Steel is fine to use... just not ERW. Must be DOM

Thanks. The specs for other classes show wall thickness and diameter for alloy and mild steel, which are different. So I'm correct in assuming that as long as you use DOM that the size of the tubing is the same wheather you use alloy or mild steel?

Yes. The old rules advantage for alloy was removed several years ago.
