It is 80% plus that I will not make it. Work is crazy (and I am thankful). Car is on jack stands and needs to have the bakes replaced, prepped for the track and have a setup put on the car... probably too tight.

Would love to do the school again! track time is what I need....

Hey Drew you got an ITS Miata in the works? It'd be cool if they were painted the same with the same graphics just 2 different classes.

ITB Volvo 142 in the works. The Baby Grand from last year is going into storage for the season, going to be working with the Volvo instead. The 142 should be ready for the next race after this one.

'Zook update: car got loaded into the trailer yesterday, and is on its way to the Northeast. Contrary to my initial conversation with the driver (he told me he was spending Easter Sunday with his family in FL), the seller tells me that the driver told him it could be here as soon as Monday (after a stop in NJ to drop off a Camaro).

    This may actually happen...

Due to the car counts what are the possibilities of combining groups to allow for more track time? I think NHMS supports up to 38 cars and if we combined for example ALL the IT cars into 1 group instead of 2 then everyone could have 2 sessions on track instead of 1.

    Thoughts?

I am thinking Pocono will probably have even lower car counts...

It is pretty unlikely that there will be any combining. Once the supps have been posted it is out of control of the road racing board and can only be changed by the chief steward with consent of the chairman of the SOM. They tend to be a pretty conservative group.
April at NHMS always has a light turnout, we are expecting Memorial Day to have more cars.
I think after Memorial day we can consider combining some groups for the rest of the season based on the early events.

It seems to me that starting of light is a good idea anyways... For drivers and workers alike.

Still keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be joining you guys on the track later this year

Any idea on how many students are registered? Maybe if any of them get signed of they will add to the car counts.
