That particular case was one where "reasonable men may differ", and it took awhile to shake out.The only difference was someone willing to protest......
But, a backmarker would never see such a protest lodged against him, nobody's going to do that. That's the "culture" of the club Racing organism. In autocross, back in my day, the "culture" was different, and protests flew more regularly. We get what we sow.
