Remember the Fiat? That puppy 2 was offered with either injection or a carb. Not to mention different size head bolts for each of the heads. I'm probably off a mm or two, but I seem to remember the X1/9 came with either a 13mm or 11mm head bolts on the FI head along. that made it a real PITA if you spun a bearing or warped a head (both of which happened on my car). You had to make sure you matched up your good head to the new block or new head to the old block.... which is how I learned that the motor came with 11mm studs... I was left running the last race with a plown gasket because the head slipped!

I don't know what the Carbed car had.

Anyway, it will be nice to see your reliability improve. Is the new system Bosch or something Brit?

Looks good Jeff, I look forward to seeing it scream, well, or at least moan in anger!

Right now the only sound it makes is the great sucking sound of extracting money from my wallet.

Are those independent O2 sensors in each header primary...?

Nope, just EGT gauges. Relics from the carb era, but I will keep them.

Cameron is handling the O2 sensors, which will be further downstream in the collectors, where they were stock.

    Neat!

The FI on those old Rovers use a flapper style AFM, correct?
