Just like a Tr-7 only with a V8 under the hood. I remember the comercials on TV "The Shape of Things to Come!" When I was a tween I wanted a Tr-8 for my car collection, when my uncle told me he'd test driven one I was jealous Even though I've gone the Bimmer route I still have a soft spot for 'em.

BTW, the BMW group kept a couple of the BMC brands when they sold the pieces off. Along with Mini, they also own Triumph. There's hope for Triumph Motor Cars to reappear.

    Neat!

The FI on those old Rovers use a flapper style AFM, correct?

Yessir. We have it in the intake track as required by the rules, and the flapper is operational, also as required by the rules, but we are using a MAP sensor (we can add one per the rules) to measure air flow.
