I have had the pleasure to meet Jeff at the NE Minicon in Albany last month and spoke to him at length. Overall I was very impressed by him as a person and surprised by his energy and ideas for the SCCA. I am extremely happy for him and for the SCCA. I firmly believe with his financial background and ideas that he will be a great leader for our needs going into the future. GOOD LUCK JEFF!!

    Sincerely,

Have they redefined the "President's" role yet, or are they keeping it the same? I seem to remember after Julow left they announced a re-structuring of that role.

He got ProRacing into the black?

That's a pretty decent accomplishment, it would seem...

If you read the press release, you will see that the position is back to "President and CEO". The Board can not change the position without a vote of the membership because the leadership positions are defined in the SCCA bylaws.

Having said that, there is certainly nothing that says they can't "operate" as if he is the COO...

I have met Jeff as well and talked at length about our New England Region Racetrack. Seems like a good guy that knows the ropes of SCCA.
