    Cool Video thread

Since we've got a picture thread, might as well start a video thread!

My first contribution, the one you all wanna see - things going all pear-shaped on lap 4 in Turn 7...

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylBvNdsHksc[/ame]

Oh, yeah - according to my data, I was going about 45mph when Sam hit me - but probably only 20mph in the direction he was going, since I was headed for the wall - and I'd expect (based on my data from other, better laps) that he was going maybe 60-65mph! Thunk!

OK...here are some of mine from the ITA race.

Started 12th and was 5th after L1/T3 due to a little incident at the front of the field that took out a number of cars....

    http://vimeo.com/2210713

And here's my awful punt of Willie Phee on lap 18. I had no brake pedal (turns out my rear pads were completely gone). I tried to make the best of a bad situation but got into him anyhow....spinning us both and allowing Bob Stretch to get past both of us for 5th place. I obviously incurred a bit left rear damage and had the red clay all over my rear tires. Apparently Greg Creamer was impressed that I stuck the landing at the end.

    Sorry again, Willie.

I hope to have my full video up later tonight or tomorrow.

OK, fixed it - seems like the Youtube link works if I just paste it as a link, but if I use the forum tool, it gets messed up??? Ah well...

Highlights reel is uploading now... give it 15, I should be able to link it...

That was an awesome video, and a fun race. Thanks for posting it for us to watch Vaughan.

Great stuff Vaughan. I hope to have mine up one way or another tomorrow night. Watched it again today and I see lots of room for personal improvement.

Between IT Fest and the ARRC, it feels like we are almost having too much fun at this game:026:

That was highly entertaining! That lap prior to your spin in three, the car looked like it got pretty loose there that time too. Interesting to think how differently that race could've turned out had Chris been able to keep Duece behind him going into 10A on the first lap.

I'd put my video up but for some reason my stupid camera didn't work. When the race was over, it had some warning up on the screen about being too cold so it only recorded for about a minute. Wasn't even enough to get the start. First time I've seen that. It worked perfectly on Sunday though, so go figure.

As Kevin said, that was highly entertaining. Some ITB awesomeness right there. Thanks for posting that. Apparently T3 was a hot spot that weekend.

Anybody else think how fantastic Peter does with hand controls? He is a winner every time he drives.

Yeah we were taken out of the enduro at turn 3 on Sunday as well. I will definitely have to come to terms with that corner next year. It woud have been nice for the race not to be my 3rd sesson at the track...

Cool, looking forward to seeing it when I get home - they've now blocked all the Youtube etc. access from work. F'ers.

Yeah, I was very impressed with Peter's ability to work that car - he can almost outbrake me!

So it wasn't just me then? It seemed like the whole field was braking 50 or more ft early. I was rarely in a position to pass in a braking zone, so I played along, but I felt there was a lot left on the table every lap.

Yup, I watched that race from the bridge over 11, and loved every minute of it, right up until, it got ugly. I was running from side to side, of the road, following the lead pack thru the 10s and into 12. THAT is the kind of racing I love to watch. Awesome video.

And I listened intently as Greg Creamer did the turn by turn from 3 to mid straight on the PA. Can we get an "attaboy" and a round of applause for Greg??
