    Default Honda Flywheel

Looking for general opinion on the pro's and con's of using a 7lb. aluminum flywheel for road race Civic. Thanks.

Had one in a street car - liked it. Have it available if you don't already have one (D series) only 500-ish miles on it...

Had one on a street CRX years ago and loved it... if it was IT legal, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Don't think there are many of us that wouldn't. Unless we didn't want to go faster. But a racer not wanting to go faster? That's unheard of.

When I converted my monte carlo over to a manual transmission I used a 15lb flywheel instead of the stock 30lber. I'm amzed at how much quicker the motor revs. Jsut don't want to do too many clutch drops with it.
