I know you're going to enjoy the new car in ITR, the 328 will be a car to have. The motor's a real sweetheart, and the chassis is much better behaved than the Z3's. You'll really get a kick out of it, I'm sure.
    James, thanks for the congrats.

I think the 328 will be a real good car for ITR. I was only toying with the idea of a switch as I was really enjoying how competitve ITA is and I was having success with the Z3. I put a couple of laps on a competetive 325 ITR car and I really enjoyed it. The 328 came a long and was really too good a deal to pass up. It was probably a season or two early, but it fit all of the criteria I was looking for if I was going to switch.....so here we are. Hopefully ITR will be an emerging class with car counts steadily rising. We've got about 10 cars in the NER with almost all of them being quite competetive. Let the learning curve begin....

Congrats to you and Vic! Lawson looks as tired as you in that photo.

Don't leave ITA! I finally had someone to battle with this past year!

Congrats to the entire family. Lawson does look a lot cuter than Dad though. Thank Goodness!

Good to see that you are going to continue racing. The BMW looks nice.

Thanks for all the encouraging words and heartfelt congratulations. Vic and I talk all the time about how many great folks we've met and really consider the racing community an extended family. Except for Crazy Joe!

Giving up racing has never been an option. My parents were taking me to the track when I was Lawson's age, all we're doing is continuing the poor parenting that got me to where I am!!

Anthony....believe me switching was a tough decision. I had big plans of kicking your rear all next season.....my goal was to make Lisa angry.....

    Thanks again all,

Rob - Just seeing the news - Congrats to you and Vicki - Lawson looks amazing. My only comment on fatherhood is that it happens way too fast. Before you know it you'll be taking Lawson off to college - Every day is a treasure - Hoard them all.

The baby, no question about it.

My racing budget comes from a small roadside vegetable stand. If our corn isn't knee-high by the fourth of July I know we're in trouble....

Just be careful about what you put on Lawson's name tag because.....

In the age of the Hippie commune, and when children of the communes were first going to school. One quiet young boy shows up on the first day of school, with a name-tag on that says "Fruit Stand." Well the teacher sighs, but take this as a challenge, "Well sit down Fruit Stand" she says. This continues all day long, and the boy never says anything, and actually starts to respond to "Fruit Stand." As the first day of school ends and it's almost time for the boy to ride the bus home. So the teacher looks at the back of Fruit Stand's name tag and discovers he's susposed to be dropped of at the....
