Default 2 more questions: ECU and bumpers

    Hello again,

Three more questions about my ITS Civic Si build:

ECU: can I run an OBD1 ECU on an OBD2 engine if it fits in an OEM ECU housing? Can I change my redline?

Bumpers: I can't find the IT rule for bumper beams. Can I remove them if the cover and appearance remains intact? Actually, the front one is lightened and the rear one is gone. I need to know if I have to find replacements.

Windshield washer fluid reservoir: do I need to reinstall it?

    Thanks again!

Yes and yes. In fact, the "fit inside OEM housing" restriction is gone now.

The reason why you can't find a rule is because there isn't one. The rules are written on the principle that "if it doesn't say you can, then you can't" and on this point, it doesn't say you can do anything to your bumpers. So, you can't. You need to find replacements.
