    Default CORNER WEIGHTS - A2 Golf GTI ITB ?

    What am I looking for in corner weights. Just over 1/2 tank of fuel - 26# ballast on the floor. ME @ 150# in the seat. LF 614# RF 789# LR 566# RR 331# Total of 2299# The track is Waterford Hills 1.5 mi Very tight and twisty and predominately RH turns. Thanks for any help. Al

    Ned, your corner weights are pretty poor. Cross weights should pretty close to pretty close to each other.

    LF and RR = 945 lbs
    RF and LR = 1,355 lbs

    that's 41% and 58% respectively

    Total = 2,300 lbs

    Were you in the drivers seat while doing the corner weights?

    I would aim for a neutral setup with what ever fuel you need in the tank at the end of the race to make weight.

    The A2 can be balenced better. My car is 51/49 with 165# in the drivers seat.
