Hey guys, had fun running with you all this past weekend. Specially good race to Jim #66, Guy #33, and Don #37. Good racing with you guys, nothing more fun than a competetive clean race. Just wish i had that extra couple horsepower to help push ya around the tri-oval.

If interested this is the view from the Z on Sat’s race, first race at Daytona.

    Part 1 – Fun start
    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tx31kJSsyJc[/ame]

Part 2 – My favorite; I get around Mr. Young for a lap or two but then he dusts me
    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDxrFfjtzBA[/ame]

Part 3 – Not my favorite, the dreaded miss is back in parts 2/3 and car slows down…

And BTW, that Porsche 911 in front of me definitely isn't a legal ITR car unless the rules have changed and lexan windows with cutouts and NACA ducts are now legal in IT.

    Hey Pablo,

It was nice to meet you and your crew. I hope you get back into IT racing and stay here in the community. If you've got any pictures and can email shoot them to me at [email protected], they'd be appreciated and I can post them here.

    Hey Chris,

Good talking with you down there and thanks for the compliments. I'll dig out the E88 differences but basically one is legal and one isn't - as far as I remember. There are some threads on this forum too that cover the heads and I'll look those up. Mike M. is pretty familiar with them, I'll shoot him a line. Thanks for checking for us, it might come in real handy.

Ron I send the pics hope they go thru. From what I understand there are 3 versions of the e-88 first just like the e-31 as far as the cumbustion chamber very rare. second like 44cc cumbustion chamber like in my 73 z then the 3rd which is what came in your 260 with one of the valves been larger not sure which possibly the intake

Great video Ron! Thanks for posting it, and nice drive. You really start and handle traffic well. Tim went to school with the guy with the Porsche. Great guy, but I don't think he really knows where the car belongs class wise. I got the impression he built the car first (the way he wanted to), and then chose a class after the fact. I'm not sure he's real familiar with the details in the GCR. It was good to meet you at the track, and I'll check and see if we have a late E-88 head at the shop. If we do it's yours. BTW what was the difference between the early and late E-88's?

Christian, too funny. Yes, I saw that line from in the car several times. My car would not go anywhere near that grass, and if it did....live rear axle no likee bumpee bumpee. LOL.....

Nice shot that one. Paul did that 3-4 times that race I think. Had fun racing with him.
