ITS Harding takes overall just ahead of Maynard in ITR... Jeremy just barely wins his race holding off Beran Peter by a car length... Jeremy was just trying to beat the ITB cars right??? LOL anyway congrats also goes to Beran for another solid ITB win!!!

No, but I brought the rains anyway, Dave! The 'Kooks seem good...I did a 2hot lap qualifying session, and T&S must of screwed up, and gave me a 1:17.1. The race was great fun, I got to lay a bumper on Joe at about lap 11, or so (hee hee!) and raced with a SSB guy for awhile. The car ran pretty well, and made it to the flag! (And for those who say the cars a solid "A" car, let me remind you the front of A was nearly 2 seconds away(From my one freakish lap), which ends up roughly proportional to the gap I see from IT7 to ITA at Road Atlanta.)

Correction, Joe only broke after running out of talent in six, sliding into the soft barrier and THEN breaking!!!

I'm wicked envious - and wish I was up there! What a great weekend (weather) and race format! The "putting the car back together" is progressing, and I should be back for the Pig Roast. But in the meantime, and I know that everyone is busy, but could someone post results for ITB? If Beran got first, what did the rest of the field look like?

    thanks,

Big congrats to Geoff B. for sweeping Day's 2 races in ITA. He was patient, fast and very consistant. Wish I could have had a car out there to race him for the win.

Joe, Joe, Joe, remember the first rule of racing: talent = tires, and tires = talent...

As for ITB, I think Nat Wentworth was in a solid second until he spun on Sat afternoon, and he looked closer Sunday afternoon, about 2 seconds back from Beran at mid race. Need to get those UPS truck sounding German monsters out for a reality check, right Blethens!?

How did Jeremy's car do in B Prepared? (or the Boy Scouts class or wherever tGA ran it?)

Wow what a long, bt VERY fun weekend. I made huge improvements and I am happy with the results since I had not been in the car in a year. Beran did beat me Sunday morning, but I had no one behind me and I just followed him and learned his line.

On Sunday was having a really good race mid pack ITS in fact and well in front of Beran before I ran out of talent in turn 3 and badly flatspotted my tires. I had never done that before and man the cars handling went right out the door and it sounded like the car was going to fall apart! I will write up more as I get more sleep.

Greg finished 2nd in DP and got another second off of the car. Although we still have a long way to go we are taking chunks of time off.

Congrats, Jake. Glad to hear you've gotten back out.
How many cars were in the ITR field? Dick, did you make it out?
I enjoyed pushing a tandem stroller this weekend. Almost as fast as my RX7, and considerably more dependable.

From a flaggers point of view the weekend was a great one with great racing and minimal carnage. Congrats to all the winners and to Dick for his recovery at 3 in the race on Sunday

Hey nice save by that guy in the blue Nissan.

Here's mine form race #1. Never ever run auto-x compound tires on a 2500# front drive car when it gets warm out. Try and count how many times I get pummeled in the ass, i lost count.
