    Default Neon top-end oiling issues

Our ITA Neon is having some top end oiling issues, like it's getting way to much.

There's one camp that says a restrictor is the only way to control this problem, yet when we talked to Marrin, he said no restrictor and we also talked to Ralph Porter and he agreed.

So, my question is, what have others found to be a solution for them?

    Cheers,

    Dave

There was a TSB back in the day that had you instal a restrictor in the PCV hose. At high RPM use there is too much oil getting up top without enough drain back opening at the base of the head. The other option is to restrict the oil feed to the head down to about .095 from .120.

This issue only occurs on first gen DOHC's and Second gen Magnum motors.

    Hope this is helpful.
